Calico Jack is a must see band that rocks out on songs you haven't heard in a while. Tunes from all the hard rock bands you loved - only deeper cuts that got air play back in the 70s and 80s on real FM while you drove around in your gas guzzler - not the crap "oldies" stations play now. Solid, honest, genuine HARD ROCK from bands like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Van Halen, Bad Company, James Gang...and if you feel like dancing Calico Jack will have you dancing the night away. Bass work performed by Roy Scoturro. Roy's playing hits you like a train coming down the tracks -super solid player has played in a number of rock bands in the Las Vegas area before CJ. Vocalist/Frontman John Adams has the pipes many a singer would die to have - he has played with Asylum, and with Tony Spada in Big Picture. He is also an ace videographer with his roving shots featured in a number of great local band's videos. Kevin Carey handles guitar duties - sometimes mistaken for two guitarists - played most recently with Altitude and Project:LGM. He got to jam with Tyrone Lampkin (at the time with Funkadelic) when he was 15 in New Britski, and has been spoiled with great drummers ever since...On the kit is local veteran Jeff Zajac, aka: BamBam, Mr.Jeff Speede, Master of Thunder. Jeff has played in many successful bands in the area, most noteabaly Cryer, Reckless, Impelertia, Delacey Blvd, opening up for many national acts along the way, a solid hard rock player. You must get out and see Calico Jack - you won't be dissapointed - it's like listening to your crazy uncle's record collection!
